This collection has been a Decade in the Making! Ten years ago when I began my journey as a self-taught painter, I dreamed of being able to paint abstracts that were colorful, layered with meaning, and just a delight for the eyes.

This one is personal. When I was growing up I experienced and dealt with a lot of anxiety and probably depression.

I was asked recently about my artistic process and “how do you think of subjects to paint and dream up your color palettes?” I have to chuckle a little bit b/c for a long time I didn’t think I had one! I’m a bit all over the place creatively but now that I’ve been at this painting endeavor for a bit, it turns out I do have a method to my madness.

A long time ago a friend of mine told me that I was actually an art collector. I thought, "who me??" I was young, in my twenties and thought no. way. You have have to be wealthy, sophisticated, have a fine arts degree. Nope. You don't. Take it from me who was none of those things! In this post are my 3 never fails when it comes to becoming an art collector.
